Chest Freezers
The chest freezer is the work horse of any professional kitchen. Expected and
work reliably day in day out. We stock quality units from market leaders Elcold,
Derby, Tefcold, and Interlevin. Giving different size and capacity options with a
choices of white or stainless steel lid as well as castor options.
We were instructed by our client to find a replacement chest freezer for an old Zanussi domestic
chest freezer. As theirs was rusting and not retaining temperature.
We supplied a Tefcold GM500SS chest freezer as this is a commercial chest freezer with a bigger
compressor to achieve lower temperatures and more importantly recovers temperature lost
quicker, when the lid has been opened.
An added benefit of this type of commercial chest freezer is that it has a stainless steel lid which
gave the client extra working surface!
